Injuries to the Elderly

A substantial portion of our society has already reached retirement age or will soon reach retirement age. As we age and advance toward our golden years, circumstances may present housing and health challenges. As our medical needs change, lodging and products created to assist our needs become necessary. Rollators, for example, are needed to assist with mobility, but just because we have mobility challenges does not mean we can be denied housing for that reason. Discrimination based upon age and disability is illegal. Products designed for the elderly should not cause injury and should be accompanied by warnings and instructions that allow consumers to make an informed decision concerning whether the product is suitable to them.
